TRAVEL BIKE CHAIN KIT

We've forged a strategic partnership with Silca, the industry leader of zero-friction waxing solutions.

Drivetrain grease doesn't belong on your clothes. Beyond the proven benefits of lower friction and extended longevity, a waxed chain is completely dry and clean to the touch - making it the ultimate bike travel and packing approach.

Step 1: Buy Chain

Buy a factory-lubed chain, but do not install it on your bike yet.

Step 2: Strip Chain

Use Silca's chain stripper to easiy clean and prepare the chain.

Step 3: Home Waxing

Wax your clean chain either using a hot-melt or cold-drip approach.

Step 4: Travel Waxing

While on the road, easily re-apply with cold-drip chain wax.

While we highly recommend a waxed chain for the absolute best travel experience, we will never force our philosophy onto you. If you prefer a factory-greased chain or already have your own routine at home, the choice is of course yours.
